Zentangle Pinwheels

This was a really successful and fun project!

Materials: white paper, cardboard triangles, sharpie markers, glue, background paper, copy machine, scissors, markers, colored pencils, highlighters, etc.

1.) Students traced a 4.5'' cardboard triangle. They used a sharpie marker to create different Zentangle patterns inside of the triangle.

2.) I made 8 photocopies of the drawings. Students cut them out carefully.

3.) Using markers, highlighters, gel pens, colored pencils, etc. students colored in parts of their drawings.

4.) The drawings were glued onto a large black background to create a pinwheel design. The students could also decorate the backgrounds.

Some students chose to glue in other formations.
