Materials: origami paper, exacto knives, mats, construction paper
1.) The students look at pictures of leaf silhouettes and drew half of a leaf outline on a folded piece of origami paper.
2.) The students cut the leaves out, then used an exacto knife to cut details like veins.
3.) The veins were bent to the other side to add dimension.
4.) The leaves were glued onto a construction paper background.
