Materials: pattern brainstorming worksheet, pencil, 6'' x 9'' colored paper, black markers, colored pencils
1. I created a worksheet to help the students brainstorm Zentangle patterns. I also let them look at example Zentangles online (my students all have chromebooks).
2. They drew a leaf outline in pencil and divided it into sections, then outlined with black marker.
3. They drew the patterns on the leaves with black marker.
4.) Using colored pencils, they chose a few elements of their patterns to color.
