Klee-Inspired Quotes

Materials: white paper, sharpie markers, rulers, colored pencils

1.) Students chose a quote or song lyric. They counted the letters and created a grid on white paper with slanted lines.

2.) Students wrote their letters in the grid, filling the entire space for each letter and making the letters touch the grid lines on all sides.
3.) Students outlined the letters in sharpie and then erased the grid lines.

4.) Students colored with colored pencils. I encouraged them to shade!
