Optional: How to make a paper snowflake handout
1.) Roll out a slab of clay that is about 1/4'' thick.
2.) Cut out a circle (I used a paper plate as a template).
3.) Press a design around the edge of the circle.
4.) Cut out paper snowflakes, use a sponge to stick them to the clay.
5.) Paint over everything with underglaze.
6.) When the underglaze has dried, carefully peel the snowflakes up.
7.) I used a plaster mold to form a bowl shape, you can also use newspaper or disposable bowls.
8.) Bisque the bowl, then coat with clear glaze and glaze fire!
