Watercolor, Pen and Ink Chipmunk

Materials: photo, paper, pencil, watercolor, brushes, ink

1.)While looking at a photo, I block in basic shapes with light pencil.

2.) I refine the shapes, then add details. Before I paint, I lightly erase everything.

3.) Using light washes, I paint with watercolor. I go back into the painting and add some different shades and finer details.

4.) Using India ink and a quill pen, (micron or sharpie is also effective) I add some fur texture and details.
