Materials: magazines, white paper, glue, tagboard for background, exacto knives
1.) The students found colorful pages in magazines. I cut them into .5'' strips with a paper cutter and they glued them next to each other on a tagboard background.
2.) The students drew simple designs on white paper. They used an exacto knife to cut the designs out.
3.) The white paper was glued over the magazine strips.
