This is a great starter project! The students work in groups of three. One traces, one poses and the other holds a flashlight (or a cell phone with a flashlight app).
We then cut the faces out and glued them onto colored paper.
After tracing the profiles, the student use magazines, markers, pencils, etc. to fill in the entire face.
